After years of being lied to and stolen from it's hard to believe there is someone out there that knows there is another side to the story and wants to help correct it. My husband's ex left him while he was overseas in the Army. The courts hounded him for every penny, didn't make her allow him visitation rights and despite their own audit showing he's owed nothing since 2000 they keep seizing the EIC we get for our disabled son. So he not only lost all contact with his other sons but with them being 30 & 34 with kids of their own the CSEA is still taking money from our other child. There has to be justice at some point. I have nothing monetary I can offer but pray your finances multiply a million fold and your efforts are blessed ten times that.

Excellent site. Well done. I am fighting no battles with CPS, but I know their power. I see the secret agreement in Georgia NOT to report abuse 'to keep the numbers down." How simple would it be to use the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to prosecute the abusers, thus deter some crimes against children? The Lawmakers do not want to prosecute; it is more profitable to "jail" the children.
Then I see all the stolen children. Is seems CPS/foster care has two extremes represented: THE MARKETABLE CHILDREN or the NEGLECTED ONES LEFT TO LANGUISH IN THE SYSTEM.
How can all the fractions and groups work together? I am seeing so many researching the problem, and going for the grant money; BUT WHERE ARE THE RESULTS?

Clackamas County Dept. of Social Services has brought over $60,000 into their county's economy - on the backs of my three grandchildren - who they have held hostage in their system since March 23, 2007.
I am a grandmother - in Oregon - a state with no rights for Grandparents. I was an integral part of the lives of my grandsons before they were taken by Clackamas County DHS. My visits have been curtailed - I have no way to contact these boys via phone. Their demeanor and spirit have spiraled downward since their "care" by Clackamas County DHS.
I am very interested in connecting with other Oregon grandparents / parents and family members who have lost their children to this "Adoption and Safe Families Act" money train.
I live on the Oregon coast.
These boys are scheduled to be adopted out to a state across the country (per the social worker's testimony in Family Court last month).
