Why isn't there any hope for those who have been abused by the child support agencies and have no money to fight?According to their own records we owed nothing 1/2000-8/2000. Then suddenly they said we were back arrears of $11,000. Then they garnisheed so much that if not for mom's house on the poor side of town & our disabled son's SSI we would have been homeless. Then our son took seizures and almost died. Because of his size my husband quit working to take care of him in 2003. He went back to work part time in 2007 and Ohio started claiming his EIC return.Ky. lifted the lien they had placed on him here for Ohio in 2007 because Ohio refused to explain to Ky. how he went from owing nothing to having back arrears. Nor why some of the payments we do have proof of they don't. They refuse to speak to anyone but my husband who has no idea how to explain all of this. So they continue to take the EIC Doug gets for our son to pay back arrears (their records show don't exist) for his first two sons now 35 & 31 yrs. old with kids of their own.I contacted the Ohio AG with all this & he said it wasn't his job. To contact Legal Aid. Legal Aid says there is a conflict of interest because they represented his wife & set the child support amount when he was in the Army & overseas. There was one attorney in Toledo that said he might take it pro bono then discovered how messed up the records were and evidently changed his mind because he never returned any of our calls. Now we're struggling on SSI and Doug got a part time job at minimum wage which took all our food stamps & made our income too high for substidized heating/cooling asst. Michael needs new shoes & clothes but they seized 2009's EIC for $600. He didn't even get the stimulus payment until we can prove that now that he's an adult he's still disabled. Evidently they have different guidelines for the disabled once they become adults. Our car broke down and though it'd take little for the part to fix it & I can afford the $7. getting church friend or BIL out here is like pulling teeth. So we are spending a fortune in just gas for neighbors to take us shopping or to work.I've contacted radio stations, newspapers & TV stations in Toledo and no one wants to do the story because evidently no one has any compassion for the men or second families suffering. His wife had the affair, divorced him & refused to let him see his kids despite visitation rights. The oldest (35) refuses to speak to him and the youngest (31) doesn't have the time to bother. Both were alienated from their dad by their mother. We're scared to death LCCSEA is going to start garnisheeing his paycheck again.Because it's supposedly back arrears it's not deductible so we'd still be ineligible for food stamps in Ky. & if he quits we'd be banned from food stamps for 6 months.Yet if we divorced there would be all kinds of help we could get. I (we) feel so beaten down we wonder why bother even trying any more. No one that can help will w/o money. So prayer is all we have left & our own seem to be hitting the ceiling so we could use all the intercessory prayers we could get. Evidently when it comes to Ohio child support agency only God alone can make them heel. I know another couple going through something similar & are at risk of losing their home because Ohio refuses to look at any records including their own. Thanks for letting me sound off a little. I just feel so frustrated.

I am working a federal case for my daughter and grandchildren and searching for a pro-bono lawyer for her. She has a Learning disability and cannot do a trial this magnitude. Both the family court and CPS have violated almost every law humanly possible including kidnapping (not legally) across state lines of a child they had no jurisdiction to. This case can with dedicated help be awesome caselaw for future parents. I can just about prove beyond a reasonable doubt " CONSPIRACY TO KIDNAP AND MAINTAIN JURISDICTION FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF FEDERAL MONIES IS THE RESULT OF THE APPLICATION OF FEDERAL INCENTIVES LAWS WITHOUT ENSURING ANY REAL CHECKS AND BALANCES WITHIN THE RECIEVING STATE THAT RESULT IN GROWING AND SYSTEMIC CORRUPTION. If I had help of several child welfare reform agencies imagine what case law can come of that. It would just about force congress to establish checks and balances in every state. With the Family Preservation Week coming up I dare not send out a big announcement to all while their energies are focused elsewhere so I am going slowly. I also have a phone conference with the federal magistrate this week so my focus is making sure this does not get remanded but I am confident it can't. We are all Wisconsin residents stuck in New York fighting this. I not only have due process jurisdiction and federal question but diversity and icpc contraversy, alot of case law too. Everybody needs to join together and while I'd give anything to be at Family Preservation Week I am praying thats where it begins. Anyone facing a TPR, I am more than willing to help teach everything Torm Howse taught me and what I have learned since about pulling state (family) cases out into federal court. I want to get this from the bottom up. I believe if a case worker or judge faces accountability they will start thinking twice. I have super grounds for two judges, Misprison of a felony.

Please have someone contact me at 972-603-8647. I went to U.S. Supreme Court twice in 2006 arguing 5th and 14thAmendments violations. They refused to hear.

Your prayers are MORE THAN ENOUGH to bring it in!!!! I believe. While we all know it obviously takes money to make it happen in this world, it takes PRAYER to bring it in. Your prayers are a catalyst for GOD TO MOVE on this situation for us so that we can help defend your children's rights and therefore defending your rights as parents and grandparents. IT IS WHAT WE NEED THE MOST....Prayer. In Him, me.

After years of being lied to and stolen from it's hard to believe there is someone out there that knows there is another side to the story and wants to help correct it. My husband's ex left him while he was overseas in the Army. The courts hounded him for every penny, didn't make her allow him visitation rights and despite their own audit showing he's owed nothing since 2000 they keep seizing the EIC we get for our disabled son. So he not only lost all contact with his other sons but with them being 30 & 34 with kids of their own the CSEA is still taking money from our other child. There has to be justice at some point. I have nothing monetary I can offer but pray your finances multiply a million fold and your efforts are blessed ten times that.

Excellent site. Well done. I am fighting no battles with CPS, but I know their power. I see the secret agreement in Georgia NOT to report abuse 'to keep the numbers down." How simple would it be to use the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to prosecute the abusers, thus deter some crimes against children? The Lawmakers do not want to prosecute; it is more profitable to "jail" the children.
Then I see all the stolen children. Is seems CPS/foster care has two extremes represented: THE MARKETABLE CHILDREN or the NEGLECTED ONES LEFT TO LANGUISH IN THE SYSTEM.
How can all the fractions and groups work together? I am seeing so many researching the problem, and going for the grant money; BUT WHERE ARE THE RESULTS?

Clackamas County Dept. of Social Services has brought over $60,000 into their county's economy - on the backs of my three grandchildren - who they have held hostage in their system since March 23, 2007.
I am a grandmother - in Oregon - a state with no rights for Grandparents. I was an integral part of the lives of my grandsons before they were taken by Clackamas County DHS. My visits have been curtailed - I have no way to contact these boys via phone. Their demeanor and spirit have spiraled downward since their "care" by Clackamas County DHS.
I am very interested in connecting with other Oregon grandparents / parents and family members who have lost their children to this "Adoption and Safe Families Act" money train.
I live on the Oregon coast.
These boys are scheduled to be adopted out to a state across the country (per the social worker's testimony in Family Court last month).

RE: M.D. Walls......we are very aggressive this year in our efforts. While out of jail we can accomplish a lot!!!!!!! We have an excellent team of legal and parent minds working in this Coalition. We are PAYROLL....this is what WE do!!!!!!!! We invite and encourage you to donate to this cause and ask for that specifically. Right now we are in need of $250,000 for our national efforts. We trust GOD will bring that in!!!!!!!!!! May it be soon. We are all so anxious to progress in the efforts. However the bills still have to be paid. May the LORD send the funds quickly that we may continue this fight!!!!!!!!!!! Pray Pray Pray.........

Welcome
