Clackamas County Dept. of Social Services has brought over $60,000 into their county's economy - on the backs of my three grandchildren - who they have held hostage in their system since March 23, 2007.
I am a grandmother - in Oregon - a state with no rights for Grandparents. I was an integral part of the lives of my grandsons before they were taken by Clackamas County DHS. My visits have been curtailed - I have no way to contact these boys via phone. Their demeanor and spirit have spiraled downward since their "care" by Clackamas County DHS.
I am very interested in connecting with other Oregon grandparents / parents and family members who have lost their children to this "Adoption and Safe Families Act" money train.
I live on the Oregon coast.
These boys are scheduled to be adopted out to a state across the country (per the social worker's testimony in Family Court last month).

January 15 is the next scheduled parent / family meeting in California to meet with attorneys to file cases by Feb 15 (our target date)..... if you are part of this group, you know who to contact. These are for CALIFORNIA cases only on January 15.

Justice one day will prevail.

We have 2 months left on the 6 cps timeclock for adoption of a newborn. My grandson was taken from a prominent Santa Barbara Hospital 2 days after his birth. My daughter had taken some vicodin/lorazapam during labor. The hospital liason called her nothing short of a loser, and refused to let the babies father sign the birth certificate. My grandson went straight to an adoptive family, first court meeting, cps did not allow us (about 15 family members) into the court room. The judge asked if the baby had any family at all. cps said they were working on it. Initial paperwork for taking the baby, they said they thought the baby had no relatives. There were 2 grandmothers, the father, aunts etc. It has been a continuous nightmare, cps has denied me getting guardianship. I know we are being trashed by the system. My Governor has offered to help, as has my Senator, I want some back up help, in case out time clock runs out, and it turns out like everything I read, and it's all a ruse. CPS refuses to admit any wrong, or correct their records, or stop this hellbound train. We live in California. Someone, please help us. 805.688.8530

I've done a lot of stupid things...but I love the Lord and want to follow Him and not pattern myself after the world and it's evil darkness. I thank Him for all He has done....His death on the cross...His blood that covers us...His word that is forever settled in heaven. I thank Him for ambassadors like you, Rev. Belinda F. Puntanen-Miller, who bring cool water to a parched, discouraged mother whose heart was broken by CPS. Thank you and God bless you for all you have done to encourage me in my darkest hours.
