I am working on my daughters CPS case so the info below is actually hers. We live in Wisconsin and while my daughter and two of her three children were in New York CPS got hold of them then went out of state to collect the third from Chicago. All they will do is place them for adoption. this case is so clearly for the federal funding. I /we are in federal court right now on a removal but the district court is probably as reluctant as the FBI is and have recommended remand back to family court. we are still fighting all the way but if this goes to trial we are in trouble. i am not an attorneyand my daughter has a learning disability. I want a lawyer from one of the rights groups cause we no way can afford an attorney but this case is based solely on their own evidence because they have gotton away with it for way too long they think they are untouchable. It is full of opportunities for good case law.
